Why Bees?
Our love for bees kicked off our adventure. Each of us in the founding crew has spent tons of time watching these hardworking little guys and learning how they function as a team. But, honestly, we hit a snag when it came to the equipment available out there. Much of it didn’t really meet our needs or was overly complicated. So, we decided it was time to make some changes!
Listening to Beekeepers
Before diving into design, we wanted to hear from beekeepers like you. We spent ages chatting with fellow bee enthusiasts, attending events, and just soaking in everything about beekeeping. Our goal was to find out what tools and gear would really make a difference in the hive. We wanted to create something that truly helps everyone—from newbies to seasoned pros.
Crafting the Gear
Once we had a good handle on what folks needed, we got to work on designing our first products. We knew that everything had to be practical and easy to use. For example, we wanted our hive tool to be super user-friendly and comfy to hold during those longer hive inspections.
