I bought an entire roll (more than I need, but I sell them to others in my club). They work very well, but have 1 minor complaint – they are TOO big. Stacking enough boxes to fill a bag took an enormous amount of effort to turn the bags 1/2 inside out – and even then, I had to use a 8′ step ladder to finish off the stack.
Yeah, I know – could either cut them off or simply not fill them. But that would be wasting it – and can’t stand waste.

I’m confused by the descriptions. Langstroth is spelled wrong. “Key features” says it will store 8 deeps, while the description says it will store 5 hives. Since I can’t see that the dimensions of the bag will hold baseboards and telescoping covers, this is misleading.

Hi Shannon, sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the correction (fixed!) and for the feedback.
The current SDW Bags hold 8 Langstroth deeps (including baseboards and telescoping covers), but we would recommend storing them without the baseboards and covers. The covers especially would add protruding corners that the bags might catch on. These additional corners would also increase the chance of tearing if you bump into the stack when enclosed.
We’re in the process of producing size variations for the bags and we’ll be creating videos on how we stack the boxes and seal them off in each size. Stay tuned!
